  • sc = single crochet

🔰 STARTING THE MOTIF

Round 1 – Center Ring

  1. Make a magic ring (or ch 4 and join with sl st).
  2. Ch 3 (counts as first dc).
  3. Work 11 dc into the ring.
  4. Join with sl st to the top of ch 3.
    👉 Total: 12 dc

Round 2 – Chain Spaces

  1. Ch 4 (counts as dc + ch 1).
  2. Skip 1 stitch, dc in next stitch, ch 1.
  3. Repeat around.
  4. Join with sl st to 3rd chain of beginning.
    👉 12 dc + 12 ch-1 spaces

Round 3 – Building Texture

  1. Sl st into first ch-1 space.
  2. Ch 3 (counts as dc).
  3. Work 2 dc in same space.
  4. Ch 2.
