This pattern is called “1-Row Crochet Pattern” because the same row is repeated again and again.
That makes it very fast, very relaxing, and perfect for beginners.
You can use this pattern for blouses, shawls, scarves, runners, blankets, and more.


🧶 MATERIALS (BEGINNER FRIENDLY)

Please choose light-colored yarn so you can clearly see your stitches.

  • Yarn:
    • Sport (No.2) or DK (No.3)
    • Cotton or cotton blend (best for blouse & runner)
  • Crochet hook: 3.5 – 4.5 mm
  • Scissors
  • Yarn needle

📘 BASIC CROCHET ABBREVIATIONS (US TERMS)

Please keep this list next to you while crocheting:

  • ch = chain
  • sl st = slip stitch
  • sc = single crochet
  • dc = double crochet

  • ch-sp = chain space

📌 VERY IMPORTANT NOTES FOR BEGINNERS

  • This pattern is worked row by row
  • You repeat only ONE row
  • Count chain spaces, not stitches

Chain a multiple of 3 + 2

Examples:
